Electric commuter rail every 15 min. Travel time 37 min. Runs 03:15–01:28 daily. Connects to all RTD bus and light rail routes at Union Station.

$10.50 one way. Buy at station kiosks or use the RTD mobile app. Day passes available.

RTD Flatiron Flyer (FF1/FF2)

Serves: Denver Union Station ↔ Boulder Station via US-36

FF1 express (non-stop, ~45 min). FF2 local with stops at Flatiron, Broomfield, Westminster. Frequent during rush hour, every 30–60 min off-peak.

$5.25 one way (regional fare). RTD app or cash on board.

Widely available 24/7 in Denver and Boulder. Wait times 3–10 min in urban areas. Post-event surge pricing at Red Rocks can be extreme ($80–150) — consider alternatives.

App-based pricing. DEN to downtown Denver ~$35–50. DEN to Boulder ~$60–90.

RTD Light Rail

Serves: Denver metro area — multiple lines connecting downtown, Cherry Creek, Auraria, Federal Center, and suburbs

Multiple lines (C, D, E, H, R, W). Most run every 15 min during rush hour, 30 min off-peak. The W Line to Golden/Jeffco is the closest rail to Red Rocks (still requires a car from the station).

Local fare $3.00, regional $5.25. Day pass available. RTD app for mobile tickets.

All major companies (Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Budget, National) at DEN rental car center. In-city locations in Boulder and Denver. Free train from DEN terminal to rental center.

From ~$40–80/day depending on season and vehicle. AWD recommended for winter mountain trips. Book early for summer and ski season.

Serves: Boulder city center and Denver metro

Docked bike-share systems with stations throughout downtown Boulder and Denver. Electric-assist bikes available. Great for Pearl Street ↔ campus in Boulder or RiNo ↔ LoDo in Denver.
